Okay, I have been a slacker, I missed the turnips last week and this week we have bell peppers. I have begun to feel some baby movement. It seems to be the most right after dinner, and about 3 or 4 nights during the last week but no everynight. To me it feels like gas bubbles moving through my intestines, although it is in the center of my belly (and sometimes around it, which are true bubbles). It is pretty cool. The other night Aunt Sevi was showing me how maneuverable a pregnant belly is and how you can feel the hard spots which must be baby. I think both babies are at more of an 45 degree angle so head to toe from 5:00 - 11:00 or 7:00 to 1:00 depending if your me or if you you someone looking at my belly.
Today has been a beautiful 78 degree spring day. I got out my shorts and shortsleved shirt (both maternity) so the weather must be warm if I am in short sleeves. It's been a great day with one major exception. We got the results back Lily's X-rays from yesterday, and her on an off limp of the last month is not her paw but actually her shoulder, and the prognoses is Osteosarcoma, bone cancer. (The same cancer the twins' dad had in his leg at 18 years old.) Bill fought it and I know Lily will be brave and strong too (I will try my best too as well). Lily will love the twins as much as we do, so we'll do everything we can. We have a second opinion appointment on Monday with an Oncologist. Let us remember that each and everyday counts so surround yourself with love and happiness.
